Terms & Conditions of Service — mws.com.eg

By subscribing to any service provided by mws.com.eg (Modern Web Solutions — an Egyptian information technology company), you agree to comply with the following terms:

1. Acceptance of Terms

Your use of the website or your order of any service (hosting, domain registration/renewal, SSL certificates, email, VPS/cloud servers, etc.) constitutes your full acceptance of these terms and our privacy policy.

2. Description of Services

Domain registration and renewal: We register domains on your behalf through official channels (such as NIC.eg for Egyptian domains, or international registrars for global TLDs).

Shared/cloud/VPS hosting: We provide space on our servers for website files, databases, and email.

Services are provided "as is" (AS IS) without express or implied warranties of uninterrupted service or perfect performance.

3. Customer Obligations

The customer agrees to:

  • Not use the service for illegal activities (hacking, spam, DDoS, or content that violates Egyptian or international law).
  • Not upload content that infringes intellectual property rights, incites hatred, or contains unlawful adult material.
  • Keep login credentials (username and password) confidential.
  • Update contact details (email and phone) within 7 days of any change.
  • Pay all fees on time.

4. Fair Usage Policy

Shared hosting: You may not consistently use more than 25–30% of server resources (CPU/RAM) for more than 5 consecutive minutes.

The following are prohibited: cryptocurrency mining, torrent/P2P file sharing, IRC servers, large direct-download sites, or any activity that negatively affects other customers.

5. Payment, Renewal, and Cancellation

  • Payment is due in advance (annually or monthly, depending on the plan).
  • Services renew automatically unless cancelled at least 7 days before the renewal date.
  • If payment is more than 5 days late: the service may be suspended automatically.
  • If payment is more than 15 days late: data may be permanently deleted with no recovery option.

Refunds:

  • Shared hosting: Within 14 days of the first subscription only (domains excluded).
  • Domains: Non-refundable after registration (per registrar policy).
  • Custom services (VPS, dedicated servers, paid SSL): non-refundable.

6. Company Liability

We are not liable for any direct or indirect loss (lost profits, deleted data, reputation, etc.) arising from use of the service.

We provide periodic backups (depending on the plan), but we do not guarantee 100% data recovery in all cases.

Target uptime is 99.9% — excluding outages beyond our control (upstream ISP failures, global Cloudflare/DNS issues, etc.).

7. Suspension and Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate service immediately without prior notice or refund if:

  • Egyptian or international law is violated
  • A proven intellectual property complaint is received
  • A DDoS attack originates from the customer's account
  • Resource usage excessively affects other customers
  • Fees remain unpaid after notice

8. Domains

  • The customer is the legal owner of the domain (once registered in their name).
  • .eg domains are subject to Egyptian Network Information Centre (NIC.eg) rules.
  • If the domain is not renewed during the grace period, it may become available to others; we are not responsible for recovering it.
  • Transfer to another provider is allowed after all fees are paid and any transfer fees (if applicable) are settled.

9. Data Privacy

We protect your personal data in accordance with Egyptian Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after publication constitutes acceptance of the changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
